Initially teased by the Montreal-based design studio back in May, the sneaker has now received its complete and detailed public unveiling, confirming initial speculation and building significant anticipation.
Design Breakdown
True to JJJJound's minimalist and archival-informed ethos, the collaboration reimagines ASICS's innovative silhouette in a muted, tonal color scheme. The previews showcase an “Oatmeal”
The design strips away excess branding, allowing the sculptural lines of the GEL-Quantum 360 and its iconic full-foot GEL cushioning unit to take center stage. Signature JJJJound branding is subtly integrated on the tongue label and co-branded on the insole, while the heel tab features the ASICS logo.
