Following the rapid sell-out of their recent GEL-Kayano 14 two-pack, the fruitful partnership between Montreal-based design studio JJJJound and Japanese sportswear giant ASICS continues to gain momentum. The next chapter? A sophisticated take on the GEL-Quantum 360, officially scheduled for release on June 26th.
The Sneaker
First teased by JJJJound in May, the collaboration has now been fully unveiled, confirming the sleek, minimalist aesthetic the studio is renowned for. The GEL-Quantum 360 model, known for its 360-degree GEL cushioning technology, serves as the perfect canvas for JJJJound's refined design language.

True to the JJJJound philosophy, the sneaker exercises restraint. The colorway leans into a palette of muted, off-white shades and subtle grey tones, creating a versatile and understated silhouette. The complex mesh and synthetic upper of the Quantum 360 is reworked here in cohesive, monochromatic layers, allowing the shoe's advanced structure and iconic 360-degree GEL midsole to take center stage without loud color distractions.
Branding is kept characteristically discreet. While ASICS' signature side stripes and logos are present, they are executed in tonal finishes. JJJJound's own branding is subtly integrated, likely on the tongue or inner label, maintaining the studio's 'elevated basics' ethos.
