Hot on the heels of another sold-out GEL-Kayano 14 duo, JJJJound and ASICS are keeping their momentum going with a highly anticipated GEL-Quantum 360 collaboration, officially slated for a global release on June 26th.
The Montreal-based design studio, renowned for its minimalist and timeless aesthetic, first teased the sneaker back in May, creating a wave of excitement within the sneakerhead community. The brand has now lifted the curtain completely, offering a full and detailed look at its refined take on the ASICS technical runner.
A Study in Minimalist Toning
True to JJJJound's signature style, the collaboration strips the complex GEL-Quantum 360 silhouette down to its essentials, focusing on premium materiality and a muted, sophisticated color palette. The shoe is executed in a clean, off-white and oyster grey scheme.
The upper seamlessly blends supple mesh panels with smooth nubuck overlays, creating a rich textural contrast. The iconic ASICS Tiger Stripes logos on the sides are subtly rendered in a tonal grey, preserving the shoe's monochromatic flow.
