Nike has unveiled a showstopping new Air Force 1 design that immediately calls to mind the legendary 2006 NBA All-Star sneakers, bringing celestial flashback energy to 2023. The just-released "Star-Studded" AF1

"The 06 All-Star lighting bolt and star treatment was groundbreaking for its time - we wanted to capture that same cosmic energy but reinterpret it for today's sneaker culture," Nike lead designer Marcus Rivero explained.

Comparing The Celestial Sneakers

2006 NBA All-Star AF1

  • Released for Houston ASG weekend
  • Glow-in-dark constellations
  • Lightning bolt quarter panel
  • Metallic silver Swoosh
  • Limited to 500 pairs

2023 Star-Studded AF1
